Rocky Woods is gorgeous. There are trail maps posted throughout the reservation, as well as ones you can take at the entrance. All the trails are clearly labeled with colors so it is easy to follow the hike you map out. The hikes are all relatively easy, and it's very close to where I live, so it's ideal for after-work or after-school mini-adventures. I definitely recommend checking it out when you want a little-but-pretty hike.

Summary:

• Bridge across Echo Pond currently closed (flooded) -- you'll have to alter the loop, which you can figure out from the trail map pretty easily
• Parking fee (or TTOR annual membership)
• Dog friendly (except, according to their website, "on Sunday afternoons from noon to closing")

As you can see, lots of beaver activity.
